I was in rehab for 6 weeks and I made it! I made friends and enjoyed evety day. PTwas wonderful, they really know how to treat my needs. I do jave some very favorite Nurses and CNA's. Loved going to the dinning hall for meals and entertainment.

My mother was there for 5 weeks. The food is terrible. She ended up losing 26 lbs while there because she couldn't eat very much of their food. I ended up taking food to her or ordering food so she'd eat something. The response time for the call button to be answered needs to be improved!!! The PT staff are all wonderful but I would have liked for them to push her a little bit more when working with her. She's not very far in her recovery 6 weeks post op. I am a nurse practitioner, About five years ago, I worked at several different nursing homes and very rural communities in NC. It was heartbreaking. And when I say heartbreaking, I had patients 3 to 4 in one room, With bugs everywhere Biting me. I promised myself I would never work at a skilled nursing facility ever again let alone set foot in one. That was until I came here. The nurses are lovely. They care so much. The staff were very friendly and caring. They worked as team to heal my wounds. The PT and OT staff were excellent. The food was healthy and nutrition balanced but not always appealing or tasty. They spend their budget on staff instead of food. I would rather get well, than eat well. We enjoy the occasional wildlife visitor too.

The Care that My client received during his stay at Lacey Post acute was excellent!! The nurses, CNA's all of the staff and everyone in-between,is the reason he got to go home today! PT and OT helped him learn how to do everything he needed to learn. Alyson, Matt, Sean, Michel and a few others, thank you for everything y'all did for Lyle!!
