Typical Rehab mill. 70 to 80 patients at a time without the proper medical staff to care for them. Drugs are smuggled in, patients still high and detoxing in the same classes as me with 30 days. Medications were missed, dosages were wrong. I had to correct them over 10 times on what they were giving me. I was even rushed to the ER for an emergency blood transfusion I didn’t need because they mixed my blood with another patients. I would not recommend this place for anyone who needs treatment for their condition such as addiction. The place is not up to date and doesn’t operate to the latest evidence based practices. They don’t even adhere to the guidelines of medications administration. Stay away from this place.

Where do I even begin. This industry leaves A LOT to be desired. After calling multiple detox facilities for a dear friend in crisis I finally found Laguna Treatment Hospital. I spoke with Jeff at the facility for a long period of time and he was very helpful. I thought for sure this was the answers to our prayers. It in fact was not. After asking me a bunch of questions we were able to get my friend on the phone and he answered all of Jeffs intake questions. Intake coordinators are not on-site and unable to provide you specific information about facility policies. Unable to verify length of stay via insurance and they will speak as if things are handled when in reality at any moment in treatment you can be approached with ‘insurance stopped, give us payment now or get out’ which is not the right way to handle people in recovery.
