Dr Ambrosie has been great with all 4 of my dogs. They've been able to get our dogs in when they needed treatment. I moved and had a relationship with my previous vet for 18 years so it was scary for me to trust another vet.
Sound veterinarian care and advice. Always available for urgent matters. Kind and caring staff.
I contacted Lake Country when my son's dog was I'll and his regular vet couldn't give him an appointment for several days. The gave us an appointment immediately and were kind, efficient and reasonably priced. I cannot say enough good things about this practice. Everyone from the receptionist to the techs to the vet were professional and compassionate.
I have been a client of Lake Country Vet Clinic since 1987. Though Dr. Bielman recently retired, the new veterinarians also provide high quality, loving care to all of our 3 cats and 3 dogs. I highly recommend them!
Just needed a refill on a prescription,been getting it for years,said she would need a physical,my dog is so handicapped she can barely get in and out of the car,said the vet would give her a physical on the cat. Physical- checked her heart-$75.00- last visit, she died a few days later. But
Apparently there is a problem with Lake Country Vet in Marcellus when you cannot get your sick pet in to see a doctor on the same day you call. Unfortunately, I experienced this situation multiple times.
I guess all good things come to an end. This office has a new owner and new staff. My dog was sick with severe diarrhea and vomiting and this office refused to see her. "They were to busy" They are fine for your routine stuff, but if you have an urgent matter, not so much.
Don't even want to give them one star. Now that the clinic has been taken over by Dr. Ambrosie the care has gone downhill. Last fall my dog tested positive for lymes. She did not treat and he became deathly ill 3 months later. the Dog survived under a different vet's care. She could have treated when he tested positive but did not. I am not taking any of my pets there again.
Lake Country is the vet I have used for years . I called to get an appointment for my sick cat and they told me it would be the middle of August . There is something wrong with these people . Where is their compassion?
