Lakes Gas is a company I depend on to deliver gas in a timely way. There customer service people are knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions in a friendly, respectful manner. Their prepay program has worked very well for me and prices are competitive. I highly recommend their well run company.
I have had nothing but problems with this company. I finally switched this week and our new provider was unable to transfer my existing fuel due to a check valve failure. This is due to them not maintaining the tank properly. Now I have a tank in my yard that they won't haul with fuel in it due to their failed equipment and want to charge me $100 to pump it out and then give me half of what I paid for it for a refund. Do not use this company!!!
Received a flyer in the mail advertising specials they were having. Stopped in to fill 2 BBQ tanks and to talk to them about switching to their service. Sign on the door said they were open until 4:30. I was there at 3pm to find a locked door, lights on inside, parking lot full of employee parking. After reading their reviews, I totally agree and glad they ignored a potential customer. Good job people!!!
Rude, Rude staff.ignore calls. Worst time I was in At St Cloud Hospital waiting for my 80 yr old mother to get out of cardiac surgery. I was told if the path to my tank wasn’t shoveled out that day they would refuse to deliver propane. I tried to explain I was 3 hrs away at the hospital but didn’t care at all. Ended up digging 20 yards of snow in the dark. I have since switched companies and have called 4 times to get the old one picked up.
Price gouging scam artists. I was told that my hose was missing when I left with my camper from site. Hose was rolled up onto the tank and left behind. Charged 150 dollars for their hose. Any pipefitters or traveling tradesmen avoid this company.
