I entered into an agreement with Lakeview Law Group in July 2023 to consolidate two credit cards. One they took care of immediately. The other card they did not do anything. I paid them monthly for almost a year. I was told that it would take a few months but many months later I was getting dozens of phone calls daily but I was told not to talk to them. It has been a year since receding a letter in the mail for Lakeview services. I listen to their pitch, which was sincere in stating theor services. I want them to get with my credit card business and get in touch. I have creditors that have been idle with no history. STAY AWAY YOU CAN SETTLE YOUR DEBT YOUR SELF! I was left out of the loop 100%. I am currently in a payment plan with them. I went to them for help because i couldnt afford my monthly credit card bills. This process started about 3 years ago now. I was under the impression and told, that my payment would be 600 dollars for the next couple of years. They ruin my credit; Id been paying them but they have not payed my creditors; now I have to pay the creditors back; dont get ruin like me; theyre only after your money and youll end up paying more.

I wish I had done extensive research before using this company. Long story short.most of your money goes to fees with very little going to escrow. Ruined credit. Not much negotiation done. Awaiting refund.

If I could leave a -1 star I would complete rip off. I started the service and not even 30 days later wanted to place a stop on the plan til after the holidays the high payment they gave me was already a red flag because its 90% their fees 10% goes toward paying debt.At the time I went with it that was my fault. Though when I decided to cancel not even 30 days into the service i had a payment pending of $500 and I told them I wanted to end the service before that payment was clear. Misleading, predatory company. They feed you lies just to get you to sign up. Then when you call they tell you different stories. I am just grateful I was only with them for 29 days. I was promised it was not a debt settlement company, it definitely is. This is not a debt management company. They make you go delinquent in order to make agreements with the creditors. I had five accounts and I have been paying them for two years and not one account has been paid off. My credit went from a 6:30 down to a 500 because they did not make payments. They told me that they collect the money and pay off the most aggressive creditor. If they would have paid off my accounts when they receive the money, I would only have that one account to worry about now. I have tried calling to talk to someone about paying those cards off or issuing me a full refund and now the phones have been disconnected.

Not a recommended company. I have been paying them for 3yrs and my credit is getting worse because they refused to negotiate with the creditors. This program is a scam and won't help your credit at all. I am so disappointed, it was my worse decision ever.
