I needed two sleeping bags/camp bags laundered. This is a service that many cleaners don't offer. Lan's Lapels Cleaners in Concord was convenient, did a nice job of cleaning the bags and supplied a carry bag to bring the items home. The people were professional and friendly. I will be a repeat customer.
Had an older leather jacket repaired (zipper) and cleaned. They explained it had to be sent out (oh oh, nervous me) but it came back in perfect shape, with no dry cleaning odor and the zipper placed precisely. I can say I was both surprised and extremely pleased! It was the 1st time I had used Lapels so they gave me a welcome packet with coupons, info and treats! I decided to use Lan’s Lapels in Concord because it’s near my workplace and was convenient to clean my spouse’s suit. I called ahead to get an idea of what the cost would be to dry clean a men’s suit. I was quoted a price for pants and a blazer (~$30 for both). I decided that cost was reasonable enough and dropped off the suit later that day. When I went into the shop, I was prompted to open an account with Lan’s to get a 20% discount. Excellent customer service and quality cleaning. I brought in 5 comforters that have never been professionally cleaned and they came out wonderful. Thank you so much!
I've only used them for dry cleaning - they are way overpriced and not transparent with their pricing. Staff is always rude. For tailoring they ship it out instead of doing it in house so you don't get a good idea of what it will cost or when it will be returned. I give them 3 stars because they do really good work and have been able to get out tough stains, so I guess you get what you pay for!
