After searching for a new dry cleaner, I decided to try Lan's Lapels in North Andover, and I'm glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed warmly and given a thorough overview of their pricing, discounts, and convenient delivery service. Their free twice-weekly pickup and delivery is a huge time-saver, their prices are competitive, and the quality of their work has been outstanding. My first few items came back looking great, and they've officially earned a new loyal customer. Highly recommend!
My first time using Lapels - relocating and looking for a new dry cleaner. I went to dry clean & hemmed some jeans. Hemmed job looked so uneven and not professional. 2nd issue. Very shady on how they bill you. I spent $220 to get 15 items cleaned. 6 shirts boxed, 2 sweaters, 5 polo shirts, 2 pairs of pants & 1 hemmed pants. The teenager at counter told me to look at my credit card bill when I asked for a receipt during pick up. He told me I had paid with the CC on file. I have used this drycleaner several times with mixed results. The last time was to dry clean a simple cocktail dress- you all know the kind- inexpensive and simple. No stains, no fancy frill, well much to my surprise the charge was $27.00! Now this dress has no more material then a office button up blouse- and less details. When i asked at the location the response i received was that it took a lot to press- what! it is a simple straight dress. So i asked for an email, wrote the email... a week later no response. According to Google search, the cleaner offers same day service. That’s not the case ( despite being there shortly after 7 AM). I then opted for press only which they said they could do. I returned at the time I was told. The employees looked and couldn’t find my suit coat. After an extended wait, they were able to find it. The employee who was there in the morning had left and never entered the item into the system correctly. The cost for a press only was over $14.00 for one item. One and done for me as they say.
Very good service at drop off and pick up. Our cleaning was even ready earlier than expected. I can highly recommend and will use again
