I am extremely pleased with my experience with Lapels. Because of a major power outage in our area, I was unable to pick up my suit as scheduled. But manager Jay Singh, knowing that I had a flight to catch the next morning to attend a wedding for which I needed the suit, when above and beyond the call of duty to return to the store after the power was restored (and after closing time) to make sure I got the suit. I actually had a pretty terrible experience with these people. I went to go pick up a dress the day they told me to come back in to pick it up (during business hours) and they were not there. No sign, no information on their website about why they weren’t open. So I go back the next day during their business hours. Still not there, still no information. They lost a nice sports coat. The man there said he’d pay for it but he hasn’t returned my calls. They’ve been closed during normal business hours and I’m not sure if they’re even still in business?
After ya few moths as a newer customer, I won't be returning. This morning I waited over 10 minutes without any acknowledgment. When I finally stepped around the partition to ask for help, the employee came out and said, "Gosh, you're impatient and cranky today." I was neither — I simply needed to get to work. A simple "Sorry, I got caught up" would have been the end of it. Instead, I was made to feel like an inconvenience for expecting basic service.
