I actually had a pretty terrible experience with these people. I went to go pick up a dress the day they told me to come back in to pick it up (during business hours) and they were not there. No sign, no information on their website about why they weren’t open. So I go back the next day during their business hours. Still not there, still no information. After ya few moths as a newer customer, I won't be returning. This morning I waited over 10 minutes without any acknowledgment. When I finally stepped around the partition to ask for help, the employee came out and said, "Gosh, you're impatient and cranky today." I was neither — I simply needed to get to work. A simple "Sorry, I got caught up" would have been the end of it. Instead, I was made to feel like an inconvenience for expecting basic service. This place is a wreck! Lost items, clothes never done at the time they tell you they will be. Avoid them at all costs. Sure do miss the former ownership who had the business together. Won’t be back after the latest mishap and was a long time customer.
I’m not sure what is happening at this tailor/cleaners but I left my skirt to have the zipper repaired and they had it for several weeks. Then I picked it up and they never really gave me a reason why other than they couldn’t find a zipper. Now I have to go somewhere else. They also didn’t pin my husband’s shirt appropriately and it was about 2 inches too short. Definitely not recommending to others.
Lisa and everyone at Lapels Cleaners were so wonderful to deal with in helping to get out an unexpected stain on a wedding outfit when we were super pressed for time. So many thanks and this is a wonderful business!!
