Just used Lapel's Cleaners for the first time. I brought in three articles of clothing to be cleaned and pressed. From my initial contact with the person at the check-in to picking up my clothes three days later. My experience was excellent. Very professional and courteous. My garments were packaged very nicely. Price was very reasonable. I will be back and I highly recommend their service. Need to open one in the Socastee area!
The cleaning on my clothes were excellent, fast turn around, and the young lady served with excellence. However, the price quoted at the store was different than the final bill. This was my only disappointment. If I use this service again. I will want the price in writing at the initial contact. If the cost change than I expect a call to confirm if the change is agreeable. They are expensive. Not consistent with their pricing. I’ve used them l, often, for over a year now, and the cleaning is mostly, but the clothes are usually not wrinkle free. Very inconsistent. Their prices seem to change/increase with each dry cleaning. From shirts & blouses to duvet covers, their prices have gone from under $6 for a blouse to $7+ for the same service. I have had a couple mini hiccups in the 3 years ive been going and they would make things right. According to them I was among the top 5 of client business for them. But over the summer something got badly ruined. Never did I get a return message. Then when I finally had a conversation w the owner 6 months later he said to show him the item and he would credit me. I had three different pants with differnt measurements to be hemmed. They turned out wonderful and completed in one week! I would highly recommend Lapels Cleaners for your alteration needs. 😀
