My husband has been a patient with Dr. Corum for over two years now, and we highly recommend him. Due to a rare, aggressive cancer Dr. Corum worked promptly to order appropriate testing, evaluate results, and provided us with a diagnosis and treatment plan in which my husband was able to begin quickly. Office visits with Dr. Corum he always listens and answers any questions we have; he shows us imaging and explains results and goes over lab work with us. Our appointment times are always punctual. I have never had a good visit with Dr. Corum. He does not show me the blood results and discuss them with me like I have asked him to do every visit. He did so once several years ago. ........................I can look up the results up online myself, but they are coded in a way that does not tell you which metric is which. I guess patient confusion is the goal??? Not sure. All I know is that it does not work for me.
Larry R. Corum, MD In the beginning appear to be caring and educated. Once he was told I would be seeking second opinion he became very nasty. Discharged me 25 liters of 02. Best things I could have done was find another doctor. Folks be extremely careful when picking a cancer doctor. Olathe medical both Dr.Corum and Dr.Lee should not be treating cancer patients! When the financial office told me the chemo treatments I would be on and not the doc telling me should have been my first clue to run! If you live in kc there are m... read more
My husband was admitted for COVID and Dr Corum consulted on his CLL. He explained the condition in understandable terms and patiently answered our questions. He gave us confidence that the course of treatment for the CLL would be very effective. Dr Corum was the silver lining of the emergency admission.
I’m not even a patient of his but, but a friend recommended him to me as I had some concerns over my blood work so I sent them to his office and he amazingly looked over them and calmed my nerves about some things I was worried about. He was very kind to do that for me and I’m not even his patient. Now that’s a caring doctor, not many like that anymore??????
Dr. Corum diagnosed and treated me for lung cancer with chemo and immunotherapy. He has been patient with me and explains my condition and treatment well. It is a comfort to know that he is in my corner helping me to fight this disease.
He was caring & was the doctor who figured out my husband's blood disorder. He is an excellent, very knowledgeable and caring doctor. We would recommend him highly.
