I made an appointment to see this provider. I made the appointment 3 weeks before and no one sent any info at all. 3 hours before I get forms to fill out while I'm at work. It was a virtual appointment yet I didn't get a link. I went to the online profile that I created and there was nothing. Finally I was able to get in touch and I told her no one sent me a link. This is one of the most unprofessional providers i have ever seen. Always at least 15 min late for a virtual appointment, never knows anything about what she has prescribed and doesn't remember or know anything about her patients. She cant even bother to read up on her patient's before speaking with them. If your looking for psychiatric help go elsewhere.
The therapist literally has her yapping dogs in the room with her while you are videochatting with her. If you want to compete with dogs for your therapist’s attention, Laura Velli’s your person. She is totally unprofessional. I’ve told her so to her face and it makes no impact. But she prescribes me the drugs that are keeping me sane, so I keep coming back.
They do a good job. I’ve had a couple doffferent care providers since I’ve been with Lifestance, but they’ve all done a fine job. I am impressed with their attentiveness and the work they do. My only issue is that there are some communication issues between providers / support staff. They have a higher than normal rate of appointments and Rx’s being missed or falling through the cracks. But the number is still negligible. Thanks. Keep up the good work!
this could have been the worst appt with a healthcare provider in my entire life. Laura was 10 minutes late to the appointment. No apology nothing. Zero bedside manner. It was like talking to a pissed off ice cube. I asked about possible alternatives for insomnia and she said I'd have to stop taking another medication. I've had insomnia long before I started this new medication and haven't had any change of symptoms. I said I wasn't interested in dropping that other medication.
