I hear stories of people switching through multiple therapists before finding the one they feel a connection with. That is what took me so long to commit to therapy. I didn’t have the strength to keep trying and starting over with different people. But by the Grace of God, my first therapist was Laurie. That was over 2.5 years ago! I feel like I’m talking to my sister. She is amazing!
We found Laurie during COVID-19. My grandchild initially had sessions on The computer. It worked very well for us & Laurie was able to keep the 6 year old engaged. No easy task & different from the normal F2F session. Laurie had always been flexible when necessary & has given us her time if something needed more time or attention. I have referred Laurie to friends & family and will continue to do so. She is a skilled, creative & kind therapist with both children & parents!
