Was told it will cost us $1200 to even speak to a lawyer about our actual filing options. My consultant wouldn’t tell me if I was even eligible for Ch. 7 which is crazy. Other lawyers I spoke to gave us clear cut answers up front. They push chapter 13. Was very interested but the hoops you have to jump through vs other smaller lawyers in the area are crazy honestly.
