I would not recommend this attorney to anybody. His reviews speak for themselves. Very, very, very bad attorney. Just goes with the motions of the case, but never puts in that extra effort for his clients to actually get something done. He lies a lot, his communication is horrible, he makes promises he can’t keep, and he never puts any effort into actually trying to challenge the judge and the opposing party. This attorney guy Mr Rafael Vargas does not deserve a star after stealing $1,500 from me, a 67 yr old woman. He told me if I gave him $1500 on 11/29/23, he would have docs filed with the Court in 3 days! I Zelled $1500 to him and did absolutely nothing. I am not making this up. While I was chasing him down, he had left the country to spend xmas in Colombia & did not return until 1st week of January....I'm sure used my money to finance his vacation. This lawyer was unprofessional and took advantage of the situation I was in. I paid him a total of 2888 and he did nothing at all.he never filed any documents and never served the person with the documents.I was told when given him the 2888 that was only retainer money and the services he didn’t used i would get my money back .He never filed any documents and we never even made it to court I fire him and expected my money in return since he didn’t do anything at all for me. I used him for about a year, at 1st i was happy, very reasonable money wise. Now i know why, ...he never liked to be question and he would get pissed off easily if i did.., unprofessional.. He lied to me about signing papers that ended up hurting me more by helping. he did way more harm than good.. also rushed thru things, and was MIA most of the time... DO NOT USE HIM..

Do NOT hire this crook. Unless you like to throw your money away and want to lose everything you’ve worked so hard for. We never had a single conversation where I felt he was going to fight for me. For my children. For my pension. He is hard to get ahold of except when it comes to collecting money. He absolutely does not care about wasting your time.
