Vee Xayavong is a very impressive installation technician. He called to arrange a time to install our water softener and conditioner and our reverse osmosis drinking water system. When they 1st put it in it was great but then we noticed nothing but calcium in the wayer. Its causing me and my daughter to have kidney stomes and you can taste it even after going thru RO. Tech that came out said the system would never take out calcium from the water....then why in the hell did I buy it????? The system itself works as it should. The installation was less than diy quality using all plastic pipe and push-on fittings. Definitely not professional plumbers which I now understand why they didn’t want to get a permit to perform the work. The worst part is when it comes time to replace your filters you can’t just buy them, you have to pay $198 for them to come install them. VI was very prompt for his appointment. He was actually early. He explained how The syetem works. The leaf water RO system works great for me. I cannot taste any hardness in the water at all now. Collin showed up for a followup appointment and he did a good job explaining to me what was happening with the dishwasher not getting power.
I had a positive experience with Doug, the technician, during his service visit for my water softener today. He effectively communicated the issues and the necessary procedures, demonstrating a thorough approach. My husband has expressed concerns regarding the system's maintenance costs, particularly the expense of yearly check-ups, which exceed $300+, and the need for a technician to travel from Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
