Beware: False Sales Promises and Useless for Pine Needles I have numerous pine trees in my yard. For years, I simply spent about $500 every five years to install cheap DIY gutter guards. I am writing this LeafFilter Google review with the help of my Son due to my age (82 years old) because I am not great at navigating the world of Google like many folks my age. I own my home and had my entire roof and gutters replaced by a very reputable family roofing business which has been operating in the St. Louis area since 1947. Update #3 June 15, 2026. Had two new installers come to look at leaks and gutters, were on the roof less than 15 minutes. They told me the entire job would have to be redone right. Everything needed to come down and started over the first guy used the wrong type of chanel and only put screws in a few place and very little caulk. At this point I'm done I want them out and a refund of my $4,348 For 103 ft of gutter guards, (not gutters, just guards) I sent a letter to home office and start to research the company. Tommy, the installer was very professional. He went over what was going to completed to make sure we all was on the same page. The gutters looked great when he finished the job. He made sure the area was cleaned and did a walk around with us to make sure we was happy with the gutters.

Leaf filter did an excellent job. We had some areas where the existing gutters were not really catching the water. Water would wrap around the chimney and miss the gutters entirely. The Leaf Filter guys listened to my issues and fixed the situation. Their experience and knowledge were essential and Leaf Filter was the lowest of the 3 bids I received. Paying more could not have gotten me a better outcome.
