My experience was they sent Alex out. He was suppose to remove existing gutter guards, clean, seal, and reinforce existing gutters. This was done all in a matter of 20 minutes if not 15 minutes that included me moving my truck so he could put the ladder up, throwing down a couple of pieces off the roof, blowing a few minutes and he was done. All for $500. Would not recommend them. It's called taking advantage of a senior citizen.
Stay away from this product. My experience has been nothing but frustration, from the sales process to customer service. Before purchasing, I specifically asked the salesperson whether the gutter cover would clog. I was assured that debris would simply blow off the top and that clogging would not be an issue. Unfortunately, that has not been true. The top mesh has clogged three separate times. Installation was horrible mounting brackets for the down spouts were all put on crooked. Screws for the mounting brackets weren’t into anything and pulling out of the siding. Holes in the siding with nothing installed and damage to the siding from leaning a ladder. The ladder they used was missing it’s rubber foot to protect the roof so sharp metal ladder was poking into the shingles. Had their system installed on my house in 2020. All was well until this week when the mesh detached and I called for them to repair it. Apparently their warranty is only for 1 year. I was told it would be $95 for the service call to come out and fix it. So much for lifetime protection. Great system for 5 1/2 years but not much customer service when it mattered. UPDATE 3/12/2026: Still no follow up from LeafFilter to remedy the screen or poor service other than the generic reply below. *Buyer Beware*
John P. From Leaf Filter was absolutely fantastic. The install was quick and the gutter guards have been working great. John also came back to my house, a month after the installation and did a quality inspection, to make sure everything was working well. Not many people or companies do that. I was impressed.
