I was a patient at Lexington Eye Associates for over 20 years. I recently relocated to Florida and requested a copy of my records be sent to my new ophthalmologist . I had requested this prior to moving but it was never done. When I recently called to have it done I was told to go to their web site and request them, only to find on there is a charge for every page they send of $1.00 per page. I have never experienced anything like this for any other medical records. I have no idea how many pages of paper this would be. ... read more

Check in was easy, and the wait was short. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Dr Velonias took the time to give me a thorough eye exam. She even took the time to let me look at the images of my retina with her on the screen and patiently explained what we were looking at, even with my questions that were just curiosity rather than medically important. She addressed my concerns, answered all my questions, and gave me options for my care going forward. I'm entirely happy with my visit.

I would not recommend Dr. Doshi. She had terrible bedside manner, was impatient, dismissive, and condescending. My 9-year-old needed glasses for the first time and Dr. Doshi was rude when he had questions about them and throughout the whole process, as though we were an inconvenience to her day. She did not think about her delivery of the news of his prescription, which was alarming to both of us since it was our first time knowing the severity. I would give five stars for the rest of staff, including the nurse we saw befor... read more

Go to this place only if you have a ton of time to kill. We arrived 5 min early for our appointment. Waited for over 35 min before being seen by a nurse. The nurse was very nice and apologized for the wait. Then she gave my son eye drops and told us it would be about 20 minutes before he would be seen by the doctor. We waited for over an hour but still didn’t get to see the doctor. In total we were there for over 1.5 hours and still wasn’t seen by the doctor. It was just a routine checkup. The long wait time is absolutely un... read more

Put in the address they sent me via email, and it took me to the long location. The location it took me was 15 minutes away. Had to call, they told me that it’s a common problem and that they would tell the doctor I was going to be late. When I came in; I was 15 minutes late because of the GPS mishap, and they told me I had to reschedule. As someone who has a job that doesn’t allow them to take time off often, I found this really frustrating, and denied the rescheduling opportunity - and will be looking elsewhere for my eye ... read more
