Just moved some stuff in my new unit today and already loving it here! The rental process was easy and quick online. I really love the bay doors that you can pull your truck into for easy and secure loading/unloading which is right next to the elevator. I already had a storage unit specific lock, so they were happy to refund me for the new $20 lock that must be purchased when you rent online. Front desk staff were super duper friendly and helpful! Life Storage - Rock Hill is a WONDERFUL Storage Facility!! Staff is very attentive & helpful with all questions and items needed. Storage Unit was easily accessible, clean, & plenty of space! Parking in the indoor “garage” next to the elevators makes for a better experience, as you don’t have to walk far or have any trouble getting to your unit. This place was amazing! Tara did a wonderful job at explaining and breaking down all the information needed. This is my first experience with a storage unit and I feel more comfortable that my belongings are being stored properly!
Super polite staff helped me get my storage issues solved. Very clean facility that’s easy to get in and out of. Helpful and courteous go a long way, to me. The contract was explained throughly and I also had plenty of time to read it. Anything I didn’t understand was explained. Further, I understand how promotional rates work and was not confused at all as to how the rate will change after the promotional period expires as it’s reflected in plain speak within the contract, which I read.
The facility is beautiful and very secure. My only complaint is I feel like a bait and switch was pulled. We got an amazing rate when we first signed up, then after three months we get notice they’re raising our monthly bill to meet “industry standards.” Same thing happened to my son and his wife. They get you in with the great rates, knowing all along they’re going to raise the price in three months. Beware, the same will happen to you. Not cool Life Storage! Very dishonest.
