I had my evaluation appointment regarding swallowing with Erica yesterday. Also there was Jen, a student. Both were very pleasant, kind and professional. It's very uncomfortable to have someone observing how you eat and swallow, but Erica helped me to be more relaxed. I am a little apprehensive regarding my upcoming swallow therapy, but I appreciate the atmosphere of kindness at the office.
My daughter has been at this practice for over a year. She is working on feeding mostly with some speech. The office staff are always professional, curteous and helpful. The wait room is welcoming and comfortable with stuff for kids to do while they wait. The only down side is how fast the time goes. My daughter loves being there so much when its time to leave she pouts. I highly recommend this facility.
Erika and Chloe were both great with my 2 year old! She loved coming to the clinic and staff engaged with her well. I highly recommend.
Terrible experience. It’s as if the staff don’t care at all for the child. We had a wonderful therapist for about a year and then she left for a different job opportunity. The therapist that replaced her b seemed as if she was just trying to pass the 30 minutes and didn’t really care about what my child learned in that time. My child didn’t hardly benefit at all from the mediocre care he received, he spoke more words just being at home than he did going to this therapy twice a week. While we waited for Early Intervention to assign a speech therapist for our son with Trisomy 21, we collaborated with several speech therapy students and their instructor through Lifespan. Our son was just one year old, and they did an excellent job teaching him how to take smaller bites and use a straw. We’d rate them a 10/10! We've recommended them to several others for speech services, and they've all had positive experiences too!
