I see an in person therapist here and I have had two sessions with her, last session I left the building crying and having a breakdown because of how infuriated I am with this persons lack of empathy and professionalism. The first time I had seen this therapist, she was 15 minutes late at getting me from when the appointment was scheduled, I was 15 minutes early as requested. I changed my review after the way the office handled a situation completely unprofessionally today and dropped me as patient. I’m extremely disappointed. Well over a year of receiving therapy with LifeStance, My providers were great but it is difficult to get through to the office. I had an issue with being charged late fee for an appointment I had to cancel. Prior to today, I have never disputed a late fee. I loved that Dr. Christy Smith listened to us and helped to mediate disagreements and misunderstandings and then guide the direction of the conversation back to the topic we started on calmly. She was very kind and understanding. I really liked that she asked a lot of questions regarding statements we made forcing us to talk more. Since that was the basis for our being there to begin with.
