Great and caring providers but horrible and predatory billing department. After 2+ years and no missed appointments they wouldn't work with me on regarding fees for being 1 hour late

I have absolutely no complaints about the doctor's care, but the Billing department does not answer my calls or those from my insurance. almost 6k bills that need to be resubmitted to be paid by my health insurance in the correct way that LIFESTANCE knows because they have sent them the warnings and detailed steps on how to make the payment request and they simply do not respond. This review is strictly for the billing department of LifeStance Health; I have a wonderful therapist who has been excellent to work with. I am owed $870 in copayments that were wrongfully billed to me for the entirety of 2022. I have been attempting to work with the billing department to get this money returned to me in a timely fashion. It is now September 2023, and I have yet to see a single dollar returned to me. This organization is the reason I will never again seek mental healthcare despite needing it. When I looked to Lifestance for mental health services, I spoke with their billing department about what I would be charged based on my insurance and the services I was being provided. They had all the relevant information, and assured me I would only have to pay $35 out of pocket.
