My therapist has helped me more than any other therapist I’ve had in the last 20 years and I’ve only had her for 6 months.
Mrs. Lang is the most genuine and thorough Psychiatrist I have ever had. Her bed side manners are impeccable and there is an air of sincerity in her words, her eyes and her empathetic tone. I’ve never had someone care so much about the quality of my medication regiment, rather than just arbitrarily chose a medicine without considering risks. It was impossible to even schedule an appointment without using their online system, which was extremely invasive, insecure, and disturbing to navigate. The clinician I saw seemed very good, but the software they require is just not worth it. It was so bad I changed psychiatrists. Perhaps I'm mentally ill, but I think Lifestance is altogether predatory. Resist this conglomerate at all costs, if my review means anything to you. I have two providers one in psychology and one in psychiatry I was very unsure and afraid of exposing myself emotionally to a psychologist after 60 years of a very hard abused history. It is a struggle to have consistency with this place for medication management. Also, getting my medication is a nightmare at times. The sad part is they were an alternative to the VA, not much of an alternative least to say.
