Worst service I have ever received there! They told me that based on my insurence which is Medicaid’s silver that I have to pay upfront they never gave me an issue about it before and I did the online check in and she told me I never did it and that’s the only way to check in with them otherwise they will cancel your appointment! I will never go back with LifeStance again. I have been only been with Courtney Brumfield for a few months. She really helps me sort through my thoughts . Then she let's me know what she thinks because I don't look at everything.. She has helped me out of those dark holes that I experienced prior seeing her. My other n.p. Just kept changing my medicine and I had to wait and see him every 3 months. She is very helpful and I feel so much better and happier.

My psychiatrist and the company as a whole are good people I have no ill feelings towards them however, Regardless of them claiming to accept my TWO insurances I have, I still ended up paying 150$ for my first appointment.. okay, that’s not too bad. Then, my second appointment bill comes and it’s 238$? So, I paid 400$ just to talk to someone for 15 mins and all they did was prescribe me lexapro? I don’t know where to begin. This place lacks professionalism and accountability on every level. I was surprised to see it rated so highly, then receiving such poor service and communication. To begin, it is near impossible to get ahold of anyone at the actual location you are attempting to schedule an appointment with. You are clearly talking to a call center of some sort when you schedule. The person putting in my information put in incorrect info. multiple times. I was forced to pay close to $600 before my insurance was submitted. My insurance paid most of that bill amount. I have been calling LifeStance's billing department for 10 months asking for reimbursement of my overpayment, over $500 . I was told in September that I would receive a check from them in 2-3 months. It's now almost at the end of January. This money could easily be forgotten about. It is going on one year since the medical appointment with them, and they still owe me my overpayment.
