Was recommended to Eugene Kivett as a great match for my dealing with Complex PTSD and process addiction ( love addiction ) I found him to not be very researched and to put in his words as far as continuing education “can’t teach an old dog new tricks” I can’t see that being a helpful philosophy for any therapist, especially one who claims to be knowledgeable in CBT. I used my EAP through my work to find a therapist that could best fit my needs. I've been to many therapist throughout the years and have worked through many different things. Finding a new therapist is always very challenging for me, I find it hard to open up but my therapist made the first appt a breeze for me which is huge in the role of healing for me.

Lifestance acquired Chupik, another Mental Health company of which I was a patient for some time. My therapist moved over with them and I followed. She seems to be very happy with their services. I am glad they are still around to serve people and let therapists work with people instead of having to mess with office work and organizing half the time. The world needs good companies to manage the details.

My therapist basically ghosted me. I had an appointment that got cancelled, called the office to reschedule, they gave me dates that were months out and then said they would check again with my therapist and call me back and no one ever got back to me again. Good thing I wasn’t in any actual crisis?? Really unprofessional

I wasn't even able to make it there cause it's a disaster trying to schedule an appointment. They only schedule appointments three weeks ahead of time and everytime I call they tell to call back later. So I have to take the time off my work to just try and schedule the appointment. My recommendation is if you know you get this busy maybe try and be more flexible on how long before the appointment it can be scheduled or reach out to prospect clients whenever you have availabilities. Chasing after you for an appointment doesnt... read more
