My provider is excellent, but the front desk is abhorrent. I called to get an email dress to send documents, and the girl at the desk gave me half the email then put me on hold to check in a patient. I waited for ten minutes and she never picked back up. Update: Knocking this down to one star because my provider stopped answering my messages. Spent 5 minutes on a follow up that cost $170. Just really bad. The other review about Kelly Spence is spot on. She just wants all her patients on Wellbutrin and SSRIs regardless of what you’re struggling with or what your experience has been. She will even insult you if you god forbid mention a controlled substance. I don’t understand why she became a Psych Dr if she refuses to help people. Very dangerous mentality. waited 2 weeks for the appointment, after being in the waiting room for 20 minutes someone showed up in chat telling me that the therapist does not do family therapy and that the had tried to contact me. I have zero emails other than initial confirmation of appointment, zero text messages, and zero voicemails or calls from LifeStance. This was by far the worst practice I have ever been to. I brought my mother-in-law here and Dr Tysam Beckett refused to help her. What is the purpose of being a psychiatric MD if the knowledge is lacking on how to manage elderly patients. The doctor told us she would not help us and to find another practice. I have been so lucky to get to work with Janet Chila at LifeStance. She has supported myself, my husband, my son and my marriage. She has really taken the time to understand our dynamics and help us grow closer but also better understand ourselves.
