So far I have been with LifeStance for about a month now and the employees have been able to work with me and my crazy schedule. I really appreciate the "Team" that I am currently working with at this time. I would definitely send some of my people to LifeStance as a recommendation. The counselors that I'm working with are amazing not only for the talking and figuring things out but for the medicine that they can provide for my crazy head. Thank all of yall at LifeStance!!!
My first therapy appointment was cancelled and they didn’t even tell me until I called an hour before the remote appointment. This was due to the therapist not taking my insurance which should have been figured out when I set the appointment. The second appointment was canceled as well due to the therapist having training, just one day before my appointment. At least they called me and told me that time. They are terrible. Not client-centered at all! My therapist showed up late to my intake, and I thought maybe it was a fluke, but then she showed up 10 minutes late to my first appointment and acted like that was completely acceptable! I did not engage with the appointment and called to let the office staff know to cancel all further appointments and not to bill for that day because no appointment occurred, and they charged my credit card anyway. Very easy to work with the providers here..you can tell they really care about you. I am gratefull for the first provider I spoke with. I'm usually hard to get along with, but they make it easy to unload past trauma..I would recommend trying it out for sure.
Therapists are great, but billing is a nightmare. Scheduled a 30m appt. Waited 25m and the doctor never showed, so I left the Zoom call. Get a surprise bill for No-Show. Apparently the doctor was running 30m late and I was supposed to know this sitting on an empty Zoom call? It didn't matter; I had another appt to make and could not wait around.
