Elizabeth is a truly outstanding therapist. She is kind, patient, and professional. She provides a safe place to open up and be honest. My husband is a veteran of the United States Marines Corps and vowed that he would never get therapy due to negative past experiences. Elizabeth is the first therapist that my husband truly feels comfortable seeking mental health services from. We need more mental health professionals like Elizabeth in this great state. For some reason the system let me make a virtual appointment with Trinese Hardy, the day after thanksgiving. Not knowing they were close, the doctor was called for the virtual appointment. She was super rude asking why she was being bothered the day after thanksgiving! Not even asking why, or asking to please reschedule. I am so glad this happened, because I wouldn’t want anyone in my family to be treated by someone like that. Such lack of care and respect for mental health patients speak volumes. So sad.
Can't give it 1 star because Shimi Manoj is very nice and caring. But, Lifestance is just a terrible practice. I waited 25 min for my appointment before the customer service girl said that I owed a copay. Okay, no problem, here's my credit card. But, then she said that it was already time for the next patients appointment, so they would have to reschedule me for later in the day. She blamed that on me not paying sooner. What??? So Bizarre. I had an in-house visit and the visit went as planned. The reception was smooth and it was a great visit with Shimi Matthews. I would definitely recommend Lifestance Health to anyone seeking emotional and mental guidance.
My doctor was super kind and patient. I felt like she really understood what i was saying. I truly appreciate finally finding a good psychiatrist who listens to the patient.
