Finally in mental heath… They act as empathetic and listen which shows truly caring. Made me feel at ease from the initial calling of my name with a smile to the whole session as the same. The problem with LifeStance is the lack of scheduling resources. They never answer the phone. You can call 100 times in a row, and nobody ever picks up. When you arrive, the lobby is empty. Someone was working the front desk once. Nobody appears to work here regularly but the therapists. There's a customer portal, but you can't manage appointments or cancel appointments. Had a great experience talking to a staff member. When all avenues have ended in deadends and most every door closed in front and in back of me. LifeStance has delivered the help I need and want. Thank to the staff member I've had the pleasure to speak with. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
I had a first appointment with Jordan Collins, PhD that left me feeling judged rather than supported. He made dismissive comments about my living situation and reacted unprofessionally when I disclosed my relationship style. When I mentioned RSD, he seemed unfamiliar with it outside of a textbook context and immediately connected it to BPD and bipolar rather than recognizing it as common in neurodivergent people. They have been very helpful in my situation. I do not wish to go over my reasoning for being there however they truly compose a great treatment plan and converse very well and listen to any and all questions and provide their answers without “holdback.”
