The problem with LifeStance is the lack of scheduling resources. They never answer the phone. You can call 100 times in a row, and nobody ever picks up. When you arrive, the lobby is empty. Someone was working the front desk once. Nobody appears to work here regularly but the therapists. There's a customer portal, but you can't manage appointments or cancel appointments. I had a first appointment with Jordan Collins, PhD that left me feeling judged rather than supported. He made dismissive comments about my living situation and reacted unprofessionally when I disclosed my relationship style. When I mentioned RSD, he seemed unfamiliar with it outside of a textbook context and immediately connected it to BPD and bipolar rather than recognizing it as common in neurodivergent people. Finally in mental heath… They act as empathetic and listen which shows truly caring. Made me feel at ease from the initial calling of my name with a smile to the whole session as the same. Respectful and creating the plan by my input…the highest confidence that they are the epitome of mental healthcare and societal improvements. Thanks.
They have been very helpful in my situation. I do not wish to go over my reasoning for being there however they truly compose a great treatment plan and converse very well and listen to any and all questions and provide their answers without “holdback.”
My experience with life stance was seamless, and I felt supported in the fact that the details that are needed to coordinate my care were supported by Features and a platform that made it seamless for me to get in with a therapist that matches me perfectly
