The therapist I saw through LifeStance was great. I have no complaints on her. However, the admin experience with LifeStance is absolutely horrendous. They took over 8 months to file claims to my insurance because they would repeatedly submit them wrong. Additionally their communication is terrible. I would continuously have to follow up with them instead of receiving updates. If I didn’t push them as much as I did I’m certain insurance wouldn’t have paid what they did. Horrible therapists. They also charged me $120 without my consent. I had to follow up multiple times to make sure they submit a claim with my insurance provider. They finally submitted a claim and it was fully paid by my insurance for $120. LifeStance still has not refunded me for the unauthorized charge of $120 on my credit card even after multiple attempts to follow up with the billing team. The billing team is also impossible to get a hold of. They do not answer emails, phone calls, and hardly ever respond to the patient ... read more
