My therapist, Faith Williams, was great! Unfortunately, I will not be continuing at LifeStance. On my first visit, I had an appointment at 1pm and had driven from Hampton to the Chesapeake location and there was an accident in the tunnel which caused me to be 15 minutes late. I called the office to let them know in advance that I am stuck in the tunnel and I will be 15 minutes late. The front desk woman said she would check with my therapist to schedule a 130 appointment. VERY POOR SERVICE. This was the first psychiatrist I tried personally and this location on Volvo was not helpful being a new customer. Front desk is one and the only person you’re in contact with until you meet a doctor which I didn’t get to even get to do and wanted $175 from me. They charged me $50 at my first appointment without telling me beforehand. I arrived at my appointment 20 mins early only to be late from not being able to find the building. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Lifestance. From the very beginning, every interaction has been positive and seamless. The office was very clean, everyone was really polite and welcoming. The associate I saw was very kind and comforting. I felt listened to and comfortable which is huge.
Highly recommend you stay far away. My provider has no called no show twice in the last four weeks. No notification, no email no text. Calling the main office is nothing more than a shoulder shrug. However if you miss one appointment it is 125 dollars. You have much better options than this explore them
