I started a new meditation a few weeks ago. My issues have gotten worse with the new meditation. I messaged my doctor on Friday. I received no response. I was able to get in on Thursday. The doctor was short with me, dismissive and showed zero empathy. I will be finding a new doctor that is not connected to LifeStance. In addition, your application will not me log in without paying a co-pay. I have 2 insurances. I now have a credit for paying the copay just to get in. I expect a refund.
Dr Gary Matthews is THE best psychiatrist that I have ever seen. He’s smart, thorough, empathetic, wonderful bedside manner ,and he has a lot of patience. Highly recommend and am grateful that I found him.
This location is honestly the worst of them all DUE to the unprofessional women who works the front desk. There’s no way to be able to reschedule appointments through the portal, you are forced to call the location. That would be okay if they actually ANSWERED the phone. It doesn’t matter what time you call, the mornings, lunch time, or right before they close. They lack urgency in providing the customer service they signed up to do is asinine. They have been wonderful. Yesterday I had a crisis, and Ms. Okoye talked me down and got me back to a grounded state. They never rush you, or make you feel as though they do not care. First. Time in 30 years I am happy with Therapy.
I had to cancel an appointment on the day of my appointment because I was stuck in traffic coming from down town. It was a fatality. Traffic was shut down for 4 hours so I called to explain as I was stuck in traffic trying to make it with a full blown anxiety attack. but was told I would still be charged a $100 no show fee. I asked if I could do an over the phone session while I was stuck in traffic but I was informed by the front receptionist that I couldn't...cool.
