I've had an excellent experience with my long-term psychiatric provider at LifeStance, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I recently attended a required in-person appointment at the Burlingame office solely to satisfy California's requirement for a controlled medication that has been part of my treatment plan for years. The person who I am seeing for psychiatric help at life stance has really helped me turn my life around. I couldn’t be more grateful and thankful. There was some confusion with my first appointment and the person that I spoke with on the phone was extremely helpful and got everything fixed quickly. Every appointment I have is on time, the portal works perfectly. And all of the staff are very accommodating. Highly recommend!

WORST experience I have ever had in healthcare. Not only that LifeStance makes it IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with your care team and adjust appointments unless you call them (what year is this, 2010?). I should have known this would be the case as when I showed up the two persons at the front desk said NOTHING to me. Instead, I put my name on the sign-in sheet 1 foot from their faces and waited. So Sara was a good therapist, and this review has nothing to do with her. But please be aware that they make it very difficult to cancel or reschedule appointments. There is no online option or email / text option. You have to call them, but you can't leave a message or anything. And if you call on a weekend or after hours, you can't cancel.
