Robert Ussai is wonderful. He really worked with me to find out what my issues were and how to treat them. He is compassionate and understanding. Mental health can be sensitive and he makes you feel like a normal person. Cannot recommend enough!

I have very good experiences with my doctor; I've been a client since before Covid in 2020. However, there are technical issues not associated with him that seem to be behind the times. I have to call to get a detailed receipt which I need for reimbursements, for example. Sometimes I get multiple texts to do pre-check-in. That sort of thing.
If you have NO other options, try LifeStance. Using them for over a year with a few different providers, I found their approach to be corporate, dry, uncaring, but efficient. Almost worse than below average counseling is a business-centric practice that won't allow for cancelling an appointment (once), even with more than 24 hours notice! I only dream of a day when urgent scheduling changes always happen 48 hours or more in advance! Based on my experience with a psych here I do not recommend at all. There is not a single appointment I wasn’t on time to and then told to wait at the bare minimum 20 minutes but at most sometimes up to 40 for my psych to actually see me. At that point she would cut our sessions as well as me talking stupidly short. The only time I was late was by 10 mins which she then proceeded to tell me she was already with her next appointment because I was so late??
