Years ago, I was regularly using LifeStance Health, formerly Carmel Psychological Associates, for medication management and talk therapy. I called a few days ago to enroll for talk therapy and the entire process has been nothing but a hassle. Finding the right therapist is crucial, and it’s important to feel heard and supported in your sessions. Unfortunately Zoe Altis took my 15 min just gave me repetitive question "do you want in person therapist" i told her " Iwill think about it," and again again she asked me several times. I have worked with 2 physicians at Lifestance, both were phenomenal and always kind.; went above and beyond to accommodate me and to be patient with me. I honestly haven’t received such meaningful and helpful care anywhere else, having seen doctors for many years; Lifestance has shown me they really do care and really want the best for me. My current provider feels like a smart, wise mentor and friend when I speak with her. I've been with the organization for a while. This is my second review. The whole system sucks. I have a child that needs help right now. Therapists can drop clients and it's just okay or make appointments and they dont show up.There's no accountability. You send email communications and you don't get responses. The email structure isn't user friendly. You cannot tell from the lastest to the earliest email. If you miss an appointment and try to follow up there is no response. If you receive care it's pretty decent. I've been passed from np to np, four in total in the past six months. I've gone without meds at least twice in this time period, and both times I've had secretaries say they'd ask the nurse practitioner to call me back, but never did. Really quite frustrating.
