This is by far the worst experience we have ever had. We came in hoping for thoughtful, collaborative care with Amy. Instead, our concerns about our daughter’s stability and treatment plan were repeatedly overlooked. There was little attention given to her history and no willingness to work toward a balanced, safe approach. We were ultimately told to seek care elsewhere, which we will be doing.
Lifestance is wonderful! They work with me on appointment times and are always willing to help when I have questions. My provider Amy Short is so helpful and always listens.
Because of the therapist’s expertise and active listening skills, I saw in myself (through his questions) that I could separate behavior from a person. This method allowed me to retain compassion and empathy and say “no” without guilt or remorse. I am very grateful.
I called in September to make an appointment, and they let me know that there was a wait, but that they could see me in December. On the phone they asked me if I preferred a in person or a virtual appointment. I made it very clear that I wanted an in person appointment, as I struggle a lot with virtual sessions.
