I can not say enough about Deb York. It's hard enough dealing with a mental illness, so it is important to have the right care team. She takes into account my values and my goals to give me the care I so desperately needed. She approaches my care with kindness, understanding, and treats me with respect. She is extremely knowledgeable and is always on top of any communication I may send her in the patient portal. I had a doctor by the name of Dr. DEBORAH YORK or DebYork from the LifeStance office at 1900 Grant St., Denver, CO. On my last visit, I was talking to Dr DEBORAH YORK about my trauma and abuse that I’m going through. And she would not answer questions that I had and I had told her that she is being rude. Her response to me was that I was being violent on the phone. They terminated me because I was being violent on the phone which is impossible. What a joke.
I was impressed with Deborah and her knowledge, her attentiveness. She listened to me, shared ideas for cost saving meds and satisfied my needs. I would recommend her.
Terrible do not recommend. I specifically asked for non religious therapist and received a catholic therapist that made passive aggressive comments about me not being religious. She also down played my troubles because “where I come from people have real problems”. Also, showed up for an appointment and she wasn’t there. Completely cancelled on me without any notice.
I saw Deborah York several times and she was awesome at asking the right questions and really was interested in trouble shooting my problems. If you’re looking for a great psycho pharmacologist, Deborah York is a really smart person and I couldn’t recommend her enough
