I was pleasantly surprised when I went to my first appointment. The reception area was very clean and comfortable, as was the actual office space. I was immediately impressed with Doctor Andrea Kroskurth, and felt very much at ease. I am looking forward to my next appointment.
Went to lifestance for help with depression and anxiety. Started at the Franklin office and switched to Kenosha office. While getting treatment in Franklin, my psychiatrist had canceled on me the day of once, the day before once, and had to move my appointment up two hours on another occasion on the day of the appointment (luckily i have a flexible work schedule and was able to do that). But since I missed one appointment without any notice and had to reschedule on one other occasion, my psychiatrist dropped me as a patie... read more
This place appears to be about the bottom line. I wanted to ask a question to the provider and was told they don’t make or take phone calls 💀 The undertone was that it needs to be a billable appointment if you need any of their time. I also needed to reschedule an appointment and since I rescheduled the same day of the appointment it was a ONE HUNDRED dollar fee. Absurd. Stick with your traditional providers within the hospital systems. There has only been one appointment and I’m not sure there will be another 🫤
Very comfortable with my therapist which made me more open and transparent with my situation. The video visit was easy to log onto and connect.
Went to LifeStance for a trans-friendly gender therapist. Deadnamed and misgendered repeatedly by the office staff despite it being *very* visible in my patient profile (phone calls, messages, etc). Therapist I saw ended up claiming "my dysphoria was too intense for her to treat" after I had wasted money on an intake and first appointment with her, and tried to send me in circles to a different one in the practice.
