I rated Life Stance one-star for what I felt is predatory business practices. My bff is a patient, and she attempted to contact Life Stance to cancel her appointment ($100.00 fee for no show & not canceling appointment on time). Well, they kept her on hold for over 30 minutes. So, I called Life Stance from my phone, and selected opt. 1 for new patients appointment setup. My call got answered in less than 5 minutes. LifeStance has saved my life. Specifically Ms. Stewart, therapist in Stockbridge, and Dr. Onaja, psychiatrist in Gwinnett). As a person with manic depression and PTSD, I can tell you my sessions and treatments have helped tremendously. I feel heard, understood, am held accountable, and my therapist and psychiatrist really care about me being the best version of myself. This has been one of the best experiences. I called on a Friday for an appointment as soon as possible and I was able to get one on Monday. My doctor, Richard Onoja, was not judgmental and engaged throughout the appointment. He went through every option and considered my feelings. I followed up with the front desk for a follow up appointment and Joni was so sweet and considerate. The whole situation made me feel comfortable and confident to book my next service. The five stars is for My therapist Dr Schlecht, she is the best! I look forward to our calls every 2 weeks! She makes me feel comfortable and like she cares about my well being. As far as my psychiatrist, Dr Cunningham, i really did not like how she dealt with me. She prescribed me medications but never set up follow up appointments or even lab work to check on my liver due to me being on medication. So i had to cut her and the medication off.
