Therapists are great and are genuinely interested in helping you out. The billing department here is truly the worst in the PNW! They refuse to reply to your clarification questions emails for weeks, send passive-aggressive responses, call you and yell at you to pay your bill even when you are already paying on time. The billing department here uses mafia-esque tactics to intimidate you into paying up without asking any questions. I have been a patient with Lightheart associates since July of 2024. While I like my current psychiatrist (who is not at the Anderson Park location), I did not feel like I was paired with the right therapist (at the Anderson Park location), Larisa Luiticova. I often felt she was condescending toward me. One time I was crying and drank water when my throat closed up, and she told me I was not allowed to drink water during our sessions. I look forward to my appointment with Victoria. I appreciate her calm, easy interactions with me. It’s great to have an objective listener who offers feedback if needed. Her therapeutic ability to validate my thoughts and help me make a plan with the issues I may present. She helps me organize my chaos when present. I appreciate the reminder to put self care on my calendar first.
I've had a great time working with Larissa! She's very patient, and has really helped me figure out a lot about myself. She's able to get to the point of what I'm thinking, and is able to ask simple questions that lead me to explore my own thoughts on a deeper level on my own, without obvious outside guidance.
I enjoyed the services of Rachel and the work I did with her before I had to cancel due to loss of insurance and moving away, but what's the point of having a card on file if you're not going to charge it. I kept having to manually pay the co-pay. $300 at one point due to months of missed payments. Anyways, I recommend a different clinic until they fix their billing procedures.
