Lionheart Childrens Academy closed at this location as of Feb 28, 2026. In posting that info, i mistakenly gave them a 1 star. Lionheart is a fine company with lications throughout Dallas metro. I tried to edit my review but could not fins the way to delete it or edit it. Disregard the 1 star, Lionheart is excellent, its just that this location closed.

This childcare ceased operation on February 28, 2026. It leased space in the Life Fellowship Church prior to being closed. Life Fellowship Church now operates an academy for childcare in the classrooms and spaces previously leased to Lionheart. The new management has upgraded the operation significantly, being a culture of happiness and joy to all who work and are cared for therein!

We have been at Lionheart McKinney for 3 years. It has been an amazing experience for both of my boys. They are well loved and cared for, and the leadership, especially the director Ms. Turkessa, was always very involved and aware of what was happening with my kids.  I take 1 star away because of how the transition occurred when the church took over operations in February/March of this year and became The Academy at Life Fellowship.
