Great doctor if you can see her! They justify why you have to wait two years for an appointment
I have been going to Dr. Harston Ledoux for over 10 years. I have been a healthy individual but in 2003 I started with bladder issues, so I thought. Dr. Harston Ledoux kept testing and pursing my problem and finally I was found to have ovarian cancer. I am now 6 years cancer free and owe my diagnois to her. She is so helpful and has such a concern for her patients. Truly dedicated.
I have been going to Dr. Harston-Ledoux for 10 years and consider her to be very knowledgeable and attentive to your medical problems. She takes into consideration your family history which I found she has remembers from conversations. She is very personable. I have dealt with a great many doctors in caring for my parents, sister and a son with medical complications and I consider Dr. Harston-Ledoux one of the best. The office staff has changed in the last year and all of them are a pleasant and very appropriate.
I feel that the other review of Dr. Harston-Ledoux was kind of unfair, as it centered more on her staff than on the doctor. Dr. Harston-Ledoux is a great doctor, and has been kind enough to fit me in with short notice when my regular doctor is out of the office, which I really appreciated. She is kind and compassionate.
I would never recommend this woman for anything. She is apathetic, callous, disrespectful, incompetent and unprofessional. She sends residents into the exam room who spend the bulk of the time with you. Then Dr. LeDoux strolls in later looking and acting dazed. It seems that she has a TBI or some other mental condition that delays her thoughts and communications. She has the worst bedside manner. Been going to Doctor Ledoux now for the past 10 years. She use to be much better and tentative now she's just comes in the office talk to you for couple minutes and leaves this last time she had a phone call right middle of our conversation he said I have to take this and walked out and never came back her nurse came in and gave me prescriptions her nurse is good but the front office is terrible doesn't address my concerns at all and I'm not happy and I am looking for another doctor. Front office staff is rude and uncaring. Doctor Ledoux is pleasant but shows a lack of concern for the patient's well-being. The level of service is very poor, I have been trying to get an updated prescription for 11 days now. 2 days to find out the doctor wanted a blood test first, was told it would take a couple of days for results before a prescription could be sent. 3rd day I had the blood test. I saw Dr. Harston-Ledoux for many years, I had bad headaches daily after my 3rd back surgery and she did not want to do anything for them, also my surgeon told me during my long illness post back surgery, she would not return his phone calls, I think this had more to do with the bad office staff. I was placed on hold for over 20 min's when I called to ask them why they were not returning the surgeons phone calls. I left that doctor and office shortly after. Dr. Harston-LeDoux is knowledgeable and listens to her patients, but her staff is the WORST. It's hard to get a same-day appointment, and the staff is very dismissive of your problems. Her nurse is rude, impatient, and made inappropriate comments everytime I was in there. For example, when you walk in the office, you step on the scale, she writes down your weight and makes a comment like, "Woo-hoo! You're up 5 pounds since last time, girl!"
