I was discharged from Billings Clinic Hospital to LHRC after open heart surgery. I was disappointed at first that I could not go straight home, but was soon grateful that I was staying at LHRC. I had two unrelated medical issues that were identified by the nurses who made sure that I received the MD care that was needed. I spent 16 days at LHRC. My family member did not received adequate care during the last couple respites, probably never. Be sure to check in on loved ones here and do not assume medication lists are accurate and other care needs are being met including proper wound care and supervision. Good help is hard to find yes but this is addressing basic human needs and paying attention to orders. Be aware Liv Hel and Rehab will manipulate patients and their families to fill beds, especially if they think they will private pay. Their manner of "care" and co... read more
