We owe a couple rounds of whisky to the Founding Father of Gastown, Captain Jack Deighton. Also known as "Gassy Jack," he was a pilot turned saloonkeeper who loved to gas, & no, that doesn't mean what you might think it means. In Victorian times, the term meant to talk a lot & the Captain loved to do just that. The chicken burger was to DIE for and the mimosas... A++++++ But the best part of all was the literal LOVE of my life, Morgan, waitress extraordinaire, waitress of MY month, every month. She is a master of the menu, a connoisseur of the kitchen. Local Eatery, 10/10 would go again
After reservation confusion, we showed up and got a table on the patio. Great meal, great service and a nice selection of local craft beers. Recommend the house made veggie burger. Relaxed informal atmosphere in the heart of Gastown. Will go again as the menu is interesting, other things to try.
Great service, quick and friendly. They were able to get us a great table even though they were busy and we didn't have a reservation. Our server Jennifer was fantastic! Nachos could use more chips and less beans though.
We went to this restaurant today in Gastown. It was a great decision on a beautiful day. We sat in the side patio. Our server was very helpful as we were not familiar with the beer list and gave us a lot of samplers. We shared a bunch of appetizers and one person got a veggie burger. It was a home made patty and honestly could be one of the best veggie patties I've ever had. Their Yam fries along with the truffle sauce was also delicious. A great place to hangout and relax on a beautiful day!
Ariel was lovely! We had a great food and her outgoing and engaging personality made for a great long lunch. Make sure to ask her about the story behind her forearm tattoo.
On a busy weekday afternoon with great weather, the place was busy but quick, and everyone was out and about. Hosts were nice and helpful, the guacamole app was good, the tuna poke main on top of greens was nice, as well. While the flavors aren't going to blow you away with complexity, the food we had was all solid, and the ambiance was great. Would be back for a generally tasty meal and hangout.

Monday June 4 - great dinner ! What a fun place! Enjoyed the patio and the people watching. Our hostess was great and found us the perfect table . Our waitress (Morgan) went the extra mile ! Made sure we had everything we needed. Nice to see friendly staff. We'll be back
Awesome food and location in Gastown. It's positioned nicely for people watching and getting some sun on their large patios. We had some apps and burgers and the food was all very good for a gastropub like this. I'm not going a full 5 stars because for as many employees as they had running around, the service was a tad slow. Nothing too bad, but noticeable. Great place otherwise.
