I've been living at The Lodge at Pecan Creek for almost a year, and it's been an amazing experience. The community is incredibly peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to live. This review is well deserved, I’m giving it to the leasing agent Elizabeth Martinez, who has been helping my Father and I moving in to the lodge apartments. She has gone out of her way since the moment that we initially decided to move in here. She is very professional and she also cares about her people moving in. We paid $5,000 to break the lease and we were rewarded with a collections bill of $1,000 for “carpet damage”. We didn’t even live there for one year. They are refusing to send before or after photos of the damage because they know there was nothing to show.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. KEEP DRIVING AND DO NOT STOP HERE. Below is the nightmare you’ll experience if you ignore this warning. Upon moving out, we were told the carpet was stained underneath—supported by just two vague photos and no pre-move-in documentation to compare. Naturally, they blamed us without evidence. They also charged us for painting, despite our proper patching and sanding. Yet, they refused to provide paint or its color and charged outrageous repainting fees. This was the first place we looked at when searching for a new apartment. We loved it immediately, but because it was the first place we saw, we decided to look at other properties. After viewing several other apartment communities, we decided The Lodge was our best choice. We’ve been residents three years, and continue to enjoy our home here. The staff is responsive, and the location feels secluded. The pool is beautiful, and ‘breakfast at the gate’ is always a nice touch when leaving for work.
