The consultation was efficient and it was a convenient way to get some repeat prescriptions needed due to a holiday extension. Note that consultation fee does not cover writing a prescription although I was only charged one fee of GBP8.78 despite receiving prescriptions for four items
The doctor was not able to diagnose the cause of chest pain for my mother in law and ended up giving gaviscon and paracetamol which even Google would have recommended. It's been 5 days but the pain is still there and we wasted £79 for an advice without diagnosis which even Google could give .
I booked an appointment for routine blood tests at the St. Albans office. I was seen by the doctor and everything went well. She was kind, professional, and patient, considering I don't speak English very well. And as she had assured me, the test results and her comments were emailed to me that same evening.
