I had a very negative experience with London Doctors Clinic. At 31 weeks pregnant, I booked specifically for a fit to fly letter after being assured they provide them. After assessing me, the doctor verbally confirmed I was fit to fly but then refused to put this clearly in writing, claiming he did not want to “indemnify the airline” — something I never asked for. Easy to book, but GP had a poor bedside manner and was very difficult to understand. Made no attempt to engage with my issue. Probably fine if you just need to get a prescription, but stay away if you're actually looking for a consultation with a doctor.
Very polite receptionist but I was 6 mins late to appointment (first of the day) due to a 30 min late train. I understand their policy is 5 mins late and we can't proceed but I watched the Dr pull up my record and make a decision as though not been reviewed before I arrived (in the 5mins that I was late) all in all very impersonal. I was in the middle of a two week holiday in the UK with a miserable sinus infection that was making my life very difficult. It had been 10 days since I got sick, so I suspected I needed antibiotics, but I needed a UK GP to get some. I was able to make an appointment at London Doctors Clinic for 15 minutes from when I booked. Some Drs are v good, but others really lacking in bedside manner. Test results were supposed to come back in 4-6hrs, took nearly 24.
