Perfect lunch spot! We ordered the popular Taquiza. We are on a strict keto diet and they accompanied us. Make your own street tacos. Feeds up to four people. Includes carne asada, chicken, carne adobada, cactus leaves, & Mexican green onions. Served with red & green salsa. Menu price is $55.00 but very filling!!!! We are thankful that we have this option.
My wife and I used to come here all the time. They recently changed the menu, removed a lot of our favorite items, and changed the recipes. The salsa tasted like spicy water. The $21 carne asada tasted like nothing but chili powder. The green chili tasted like nothing. My $19 carnitas tacos had absolutely zero seasoning and tasted like nothing but oil. The tortillas were soggy literally dripping with oil. Nothing is worth the price anymore. Whoever the new management is ruined this place.
Here at Los Dos Potrillos I had an amazing experience with my family! The food was amazing and the homemade chips and salsa were great to start. Me and my mom split the Molcajete. It was absolutely delicious and perfect to split. It came with 6 homemade tortillas and the bowl had a bunch of delicious ingredients such as cactus, grilled chicken, green onion, and more delicious ingredients im probably forgetting. it was so good that i came twice today. i had lunch earlier in the day & my chicken enchiladas were absolutely delicious. i saw they had great drinks so i came back later before going out & it was also good. ill be back before i leave, so grateful for this gem being right next to my hotel
I regret to inform everyone that our beloved Los Dos has changed its menu and now only has about one-third of what it used to. 😭 At the beginning of the summer, I noticed their Green Chile just didn’t taste the same. It has less flavor than it used to, and my heart has been broken ever since. RIP #44, one of the best items on the old menu. The delicious steak, beans, grilled onions, and tomatoes wrapped in a tortilla all gloriously smothered in Green Chile, will live on forever in my dreams. I hope the owners have a change... read more
