I'm new to the area so yesterday was my first visit to Low Country Rheumatology. Finding new doctors is never easy, but when I met with Dr. Edgerton I liked him immediately. He listened very closely to what I had to say, and answered every question very clearly without undermining me. Additionally, I never felt rushed, and left his office knowing that I was in good hands.
It is the niciest medical 🏥 offices I have visited. The receptionist, the injections, the PA and Doctor Collins all super. Nice. All very friendly and really good at explaining what is going on with your medical problems. What our short term golds are and our term plans are. Also very helpful with insurance, they did it all.
I had an appointment with Dr Holdgate. He helped me understand what my older body was up to, as I only had information that I had read, right or wrong. And, of course, I felt like everything that I read, was just like my symptoms. He was very knowledgeable, and spent a lot of time explaining about osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. I saw Dr.Edgerton for my first visit as a new patient. The front desk staff, to the nursing and phlebotomy staff were amazing and very kind! Dr. Edgerton was VERY thorough with my exam, ultrasound, and going over all of my medical history. It was a great experience and I am happy with my care at this practice thus far. Thank you all for what you do!
