I’m sorry to have to write this review. It’s very difficult to get a hold of someone. The nurse will send you a message to call them and when you do it goes to an answering service. I feel this is not good customer service. This is a Cancer center and it dies not reflect good service. I understand I’m not the only patient they have but this is totally unacceptable. I have to keep calling and calling and calling and then someone will answer the phone.
Dr. Singapori was too incompetent to recognize that you need to run a UA to determine if a patient has a UTI. She did a CBC to rule out UTI after my mom told her she was certain my dad had one but the cost of chemo couldn’t wait! After the 3 day cycle of chemo with a UTI my dad’s counts bottomed out and he nearly died and led to a 2 week stint inpatient. I messaged Dr. Singapori on myLoyola and asked why in the world she didn’t do a UA when my mom voiced concerns of a UTI, she then called me to not put her answer in writing ... read more
The nurses and staff here are some of the most wonderful and amazing folks I have ever known. Their main concern is your health and welfare whether you're the patient or the care giver. Special kudos to Jill, Kim, Perla, Sophia, Maria, Kevin and all the others who work in this cancer center. I will never forget you.
This place should receive 0 stars. To begin with, they administered the wrong medication without confirming the patient's Name/DOB beforehand. What's even more unbelievable is that the nurse tried to hide this mistake from the patient. The medication that was given has the potential to cause fever, chills, headache, infection, congestive heart failure, insomnia, cough, and rash My mother has been coming here for many years without any issues. However, this year, we have noticed a lack of communication and empathy towards the... read more
My husband was seen at the cancer center by Dr. Berg. She is an exceptional doctor. Once my husband was in her hands, she made sure his treatment went well and that he was as comfortable as possible. He went through 3Bep+1ep cycles of chemo. Jill, the nurse who handled all infusions was amazing throughout also! She was so funny & made an otherwise horrible experience bearable. My husband is now in remission! The center itself is roomy, comfortable, and clean. Thank you Dr. Berg & team for saving my husband's life!
